At the moment they play to friends and family in Norfolk but a group of budding musicians are hoping to expand their fan base to Europe.
For five dedicated Dereham bands who all take lessons, rehearse and compose at Janel's Drum Tuition on Rash's Green industrial estate, now want to take their music further afield.
Dysfunction, The Crush, Fracture, Union Jacks and Spazmodic Moose, are made up of members from 10 to 16-years-old. And now the groups, who cite their music as ranging from punk rock to heavy rock, are hoping to influence another country while learning about another culture.
The music school is planning a trip to Barcelona where the bands will be able to play street gigs, in venues and experience live Spanish music.
It's a desolate landscape that few get to see and into which many have ventured never to return - but at 19 years old George Bullard has already been bitten by the polar exploration bug.
Just back from icy wastes of the Antarctic, Mr Bullard was so touched by his experience that he is now hoping to visit the North Pole later this year.
If the Eton-educated student from Gressenhall, near Dereham, succeeds it will mean he will have been to the opposite ends of the earth during his gap year.
He said: “Going to Antarctic is one of the most life-changing experiences I have ever had. I took 799 photos but it is hard to put into words. It was simply incredible.
1. Following the intervention of the Chamber the Highways Authority have agreed to postpone the work in the Market Place, which would have resulted in loss of car parking within the Market Place, due to take place on 2nd December. This work will now take place during January/February, the Chamber are grateful that Highways appreciated the importance of Christmas trading for local businesses.
2. New Road layout at ‘Tesco Roundabout’, the Chamber continues to speak with the Highways Authority concerning the revised layout of the approach to this roundabout from Dereham. The left hand lane is now only for access to the A47, many motorists seem unaware of this and many near misses have been reported.
3. The Chamber continues to fight for the provision of public toilets on the Dencora site. It is our understanding that the public toilets on the Cowper Road car park are shortly to be closed and demolition is likely to follow. That will only leave the toilets in Barwell Court available to the public. It seems incredible that the new development does not include the provision of public toilets within its most recent application.
Plans for a retail development in Dereham could scupper trade in other parts of the town, the head of the local chamber of trade has warned.
Dencora - which created 12 shops in the multi-million-pound Wrights Walk/Chapel Walk shopping centre - has submitted plans to Breckland Council to build a two-storey retail scheme with two two-bedroom flats on former parking land opposite QD and the garden of the old Bonds toy shop.
The scheme would include 1516 sq m of shop floor space but Stephen Cross, chairman of Dereham Chamber of Trade, insists the scheme is not needed as there are already a large number of empty shops in Quebec Street and Norwich Street waiting to be rented out.
Crowds gathered in a Norfolk town to welcome home soldiers from the Light Dragoons after a six-month tour of duty in Afghanistan.
The soldiers from Robertson barracks at Swanton Morley, in Norfolk, returned to the UK last month.

When they left in March for one of the most dangerous war zones in the world, they were each presented with a small, hand-carved cross - a symbol of love and a piece of home.
Eight months on and grateful not to have lost one single comrade from their regiment, they are eager to return to friends and families.
The first 70 Light Dragoons from Swanton Morley, near Dereham, have already returned from Afghanistan. Another 100 soldiers of the regiment's B Squadron are expected to fly home in the next two weeks.
And now, dignitaries in mid-Norfolk are preparing a welcome home worthy of true soldiers.
Breckland Council chief executive Trevor Holden, himself a former RAF wing commander, and chairman Peter Francis have extended an invitation to the 170 servicemen and women to go on parade in Dereham on Monday, November 19.

And former Olympic medalist and glamorous TV personality Sharron Davies looked just as happy as she took a dip in the £8.9m Dereham Leisure Centre yesterday with up and coming local youngsters - as well as her very own new pride and joy.
Sharron's three month old baby Finley and her husband Tony joined her as she made her special guest appearance at the long-awaited new centre.
She impressed Sir Alan Sugar with her talent and business acumen and now Ruth Badger has come to Dereham to impart some of her wisdom on a caravan and motor-home dealership.
The town's Greentrees Adventure Stores is one of six businesses to feature in The Apprentice runner up's new Sky One show Badger or Bust, in which Ruth turns businesses on their heads in order to increase sales.
Neil Greentree, managing director of Greentrees which was created by his father, Keith, in 1971, said: “Last year we had just had our best year ever with a turnover of nearly £6 million and I wanted to show my staff we could still be better and that they needed to be more professional.
